Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup sliced pepperoni sausage
16 ounces pizza sauce
4 tablespoons milk
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
Cook the Noodles:
Cook the noodles according to the package directions and set aside.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Prepare the Beef Mixture:
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef along with the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Ensure to drain any excess fat.
Add the pepperoni and pizza sauce to the beef mixture and combine well.
Combine Ingredients:
Stir the cooked noodles and milk into the beef and pepperoni mixture, ensuring everything is well mixed.
Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake and Add Cheese:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and return to the oven.
Continue to bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Allow the casserole to slightly cool, then serve and enjoy your Pepperoni Pizza Casserole!
