What Age Can Bearded Dragons Eat Superworms

Bearded dragons can safely start consuming superworms at around 6 to 8 months of age. At this stage, they have typically reached a size where they can handle the larger size of superworms without any issues. However, it is important to remember that superworms should still be fed as part of a balanced diet that includes a variety of other insects, vegetables, and greens. Gradual introduction of superworms is recommended, starting with smaller portions and increasing the amount over time. This allows the bearded dragon’s digestive system to adjust to the new food and helps prevent any potential digestive issues. As always, it is best to consult with a reptile veterinarian for specific advice on feeding superworms to your bearded dragon.
