Snip, Snip, Bake: Transform a Pair of Scissors into Delicious Bread!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 packet of instant yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well to ensure all
dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

2. Gradually add the warm water to the dry ingredients while stirring continuously. Mix until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Form the dough
into a ball and place it back in the mixing bowl.

4. Drizzle the olive oil over the dough ball, turning it to coat the entire surface. Cover the bowl with a clean
kitchen towel and let the dough rise for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Transfer it to a floured surface and divide it into
small pieces.

7. Take a pair of clean, food-safe scissors and carefully snip each piece of dough into desired shapes. Be
creative with your designs!

8. Place the shaped dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one to allow for
rising.

9. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
